So, we get a rare weekend away from the racing... What do we do?  We go to a race!!

In fact, we go to the maddest, baddest, craziest weekend in the UK for bike-berserk enthusiasts of all ages - The Thundersprint!

What can we say?  Try to imagine 100,000+ people descending on a small Cheshire town; time trial races in a supermarket car park with bikes from 1911 - 2011; special guests; a fun fair; a gala evening party; brilliant weather (as it turned out) and a cavalcade of hundreds of bikes and vintage vehicles.

Guests included MotoGP star and World Supersport champion Cal Crutchlow, 125cc GP star Danny Webb, Moto2 star and GP winner Scott Redding, 6 time world champion veteran Jim Redman; plus BBC presenters Steve Parrish and Matt Roberts.

We sponsor Danny, and work with Cal in the MotoGP - we were honoured by their presence as well as the charismatic Scott Redding at times on our stand signing autographs, and generally chatting to the crowds.

We also sponsor F1 Sidecar racing team CTR Racing piloted by Craig Chaplow; and were honoured to have them and their fascinating rig as our guests on the stand. We are doing a special trip to the Sachsenring MotoGP with them - See our newsletter for more information.
